How It All Started

Cast Your Net

Luke 5: 4–9 When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!” For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish which they had taken.

Take a Step of Faith

Matthew 14: 25-29 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.

Do Not Worry

Matthew 6: 27-34 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Taking a Step of Faith...

God has a purpose and a plan for each and every one of us. We can choose to accept it and walk in obedience, or live our lives without Christ and without hope. God never said it would be easy, but He gave us the Holy Spirit and a map — the Bible — to guide our steps. All we need to do is be obedient: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
I studied to become a graphic designer and served faithfully at my local church. In time, with my family in mind, I stepped out to work in the secular industry. I was content where I was, yet I didn’t have a real relationship with God — just going through the motions of life. Then came the pandemic, and I was retrenched during COVID-19.
I applied for many jobs without success and began to blame God for everything that had gone wrong. Eventually, I reached a point where I decided to fully trust Him — believing there had to be a reason I was still here. I started waking up early to spend time in His presence, reading the Word, and fasting. During this time, my wife and family stood faithfully by my side, encouraging me and praying with me.
While I continued applying for design jobs, one day the Holy Spirit spoke to me clearly and audibly. In that moment, He revealed my true purpose as a Christian.
God has been working in the background all along — in my life, and in yours too.

Looking back, I can see how every challenge prepared me for this purpose — to create, to serve, and to glorify Him through my work. My story is a reminder that no season is wasted when your life is in God’s hands. These are the scriptures the Holy Spirit revealed to me concerning my life and Mukesh Designs.
